I vote for Meguiars NXT 2.0. Wash car 1st with the proper soap. Then clay the whole car. Rinse completely to get lubricant off. Dry with your favorite cotton towels that don't leave lint.Apply NXT 2.0 let it set for 12 hours.Wax again, and be ready for the best protection for at least 4 months or more if you don't use harsh soap to wash your car.I live in a very hot and dry climate if NXT 2.0 works here, it should work well for you.I just high pressure rinse, if my car is not really dirty. That way the wax job lasts longer. Also use Meguiars Detailer between wash job.NXT 2.0 leaves your car so smooth you will get lots of compliments like "Not bad for a 15 year old car".I'am just amazed how well this product works.

Leave wax on your car for 12 hours? I never heard of this before i seen some people that leave their wax on the car and drive around. I think it looks very dumb but i might be mistaken by people leaving it on for hella hours.

Sometimes it's better to leave a wax/sealant on to let it cure and bond better. Generally people don't drive around with it on. They leave it in their garage overnight.

The key is to not expose it to moisture for a certain amount of time.

The largest segment of Club Lexus respondents (53%) seem to prefer Meguiar's products.

I use Meguiar's NXT 2.0 and weekly top it with Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax. This UQW maintenance product takes about 5-10 minutes to apply after I wash and it keeps the paint super-slick and almost self cleaning. No worry about getting it on glass, black plastic or rubber parts either. It's a WOWO, (Wipe-On, Wipe-Off) product so it is super easy.
Getting ready to finally use the NXT 2.0 this weekend. can't wait...

Ultima for me - the easiest to apply ( no need to buff off ) and I'm very pleased with the shine and protection. Not cheap, but goes a long way. Also since it is so easy to apply, I tend to do it more often.

I haven't seen anyone mention any "Griot's" products. For some reason, I get a catalog from them in the mail once and a while. Wondering if anyone has anything good or bad to say about their products (for the sake of the thread though, I mean wax/sealant more specifically)

Today i used the NXT 2.0 and i was pretty amazed. It was a little bit runny when i applied it on the applicator pad but the end results make the Pearl just shine..

I also got my hands on a bottle of some speed wax spray from the dealership. They gave him a whole gallon and told him thats what they use in the showroom..

I would post some pics but still in need of a good camera..

Meguiar's Tech 2.0 on mine.

In fact, everything I use is a Meguiar's product; has been for as long as I can remember.

My entire family is **** retentive about vehicle cleanliness, and between my mom's '08 Accord EX-L, brother's '99 Accord EX-L V6 (was mine), my '97 LS400, and my dad's '01 GMC Savanna Explorer Conversion and '08 Silverado LTZ, we average probably 6-10 washes per week. I've washed mine four times in the last eight days, and will probably do it again today (stupid bugs).

My friend swears by Zymol (has a '97 M3), but I haven't tried it on mine yet. Another friend just bought an '06 Civic Si, and I've turned him from not caring about a cars' cleanliness to a Meguiar's junkie :P
