Excellent Detailing Job
Just wanted to post some pics from my recent detailing job done at Madison Car Wash in Madison, NJ. Don't know if this is right place, or should be in "NORTHEAST" of the forum. Anyway, my expectations going in were very high. I had swirls like it was being given out for free. The place I bought the car from must have given them as a bonus to me.
Anyway, these are some pics.

Buffed out the white
I had some old wax residue along the walls and they got them all out and my car looked better than the day I picked her up. It looks awesome.

They even cleaned the door jabs (or jambs, or jams, however you spell it) out, which I did not even notice until this weekend when I washed the car.... Interior was just basic wash and wipe down. Did not include leather cleaning or wood buffing. I did that myself anyway when I got home.
I think $110 for once a year is not too bad for the car. I usually wax every four months, every three in winter, so I'm pretty well covered with the surface stuff.

Just use methods like the 2 bucket rinse method; to keep the outside of her nice for the next 200+k miles ..and washing it/waxing it regularly.
But if you do wax it every 3 months or so I'd go with something more durable like Collinite. [its not really $$]- [20-30 bucks at most shipped]

Okay, I'm not exhibiting my car, so are you guys serious about a 2-4 week wax cycle? My Civic which I had almost 10 years and waxed maybe once a year, was still looking good when I sold her. I think every 2-3 months should be enough no?
