Turtle Wax Black Box

Review: Turtle Wax Black Box
EDIT
This weekend, I decided to try Turtle Wax Black Box.
For $20, it did a pretty good job! My car had swirls and scratches everywhere and this product really diminished/took away 90% of them!
I did clay bar the vehicle before using the Black box, so the process was long and grueling, but I had Eric there to help, and a 10" orbital buffer
It's hard to capture the difference in photos (Before- Swirls, and After- no swirls) but I did take video of the process for your viewing pleasure.
The steps are- Prewax cleaner, wax, and then black detail spray. I didn't get the clay bar on video, because, well, everybody knows how to do that already
In the last video, I moved the car into the sun (or what was left of the sun) to try to get a better view of the spots where most of my swirls and scratches were, but again, hard to capture on video.
The best place I can refer you to for a shot of the results is on my door handle- that is the place where I had a ton of scratches, right in the indentation under the handle, and just the prewax took out 90% of those scratches! (Right at the beginning of Video 2- Black Box 002: Prewax Step).
Videos can by viewed on my YouTube playlist here:

OoOooo thanks for the info LiCelsior! I may have to just invest in a buffer since I tend to fall victim to black cars (I think I'll always own a black car).
Thanks for the thread to the reviews! I might just try it out and see what it does...if it works on my car, then it must be magic

Taking care of a black car is a second job lol. If you aren't able to polish or get it done by someone, pick up some Bilt Hamber Auto Balm. Prices are in CAD but its a very good filler sealant/wax combo

Being the owner of a GS with a sandblasted bumper, I just did a Google for reviews of this product.
Basically nobody was thrilled with the "liquid clay" aspect of this. The rest... it's just like a colored wax. It will help hide flaws on a black car although several people seemed to be impressed with the shine it gave.
My take... I'll continue to use my colored wax for my bumper and stick with a quality wax for the rest of the car.

I have always thought a deep black wax/sealant would be great for owners of black cars where the sealant/wax at least could temporarily fill in and hide scratches, knicks, and small chips and would not leave a white residue in them that shows up more, plus you don't have to worry as much about the wax getting in groves, crevices, and along trim because it will be black and will not be noticeable like white residue from most waxes/sealants. Doubt this turtle wax will be as good as the more expensive waxes though and it is probably another gimmick wax, never really heard anything good about turtle wax anyways.
