Default help! headlight yellowness keeps comming back!

so i already read the write up on the headlight restoration but i feel like id make my headlights blurry cause mine arent messed up.

the headlights and fogs on my sc3 keeps getting yellow. i plasticX them every week i wash my car and they will be as clear as my glass highbeams. . . . couple days later theyll start turning yellow again . . .

anyone know anything i can do to prevent them from turning yellow? or is it like inevitable?

sounds like it will just keep coming back. what you can do is polish them out to what you're satisfied with and throw on a lens cover.

Yea, chances are, it'll keep coming back. Although it does seem kinda fast. Anyway, you can apply a sealant to them to help block some uv rays and maybe help prolong the yellowing again.

hey buddy. you should wetsand it with the lightest paper and then use a buffer machine to polish it out. the fog will not come back.

actually...the yellowness/fog/haze will come back especially if you sand it. once it turns yellow, theres no going back. when it turns yellow it means the coating that protects it has failed.

The 3M headlight lens restoring kit worked great on my GS. it's like 20 bucks at autozone.

I wetsanded mine with 1500 grit then used plast-x to clear out the haziness.

From what i have read up, buffing them out and putting a sealant on them works real well.

Blue Magic Alloy Polish.-aka their alloy polish
And the sealants that are being reffered to is a synthetic wax or something like Jetseal 109.

Here ya go:

I'd probably use OptiSeal, but any will work/help, but I'm not sure to what extent if the yellowing comes back after only a couple days.
