Default Taking care of perforated leather seats

I know it isn't a Lexus vehicle, but I just bought an Infiniti FX35 that comes with perforated leather seats. Is there and special method of caring for these seats? I don't want them looking worn after a year or 2. Any help appreciated.

I clean all my leather, including perforated leather, with Leather Masters Strong Leather Cleaner and protect with Leather Masters Leather Protection Cream. Neither will clog the perforations. These products, unlike many cleaner/conditioners, will not leave your seats slippery or oily. Those will actually attract and hold dust and dirt, making your leather get dirty faster.

Thoroughly vacuum and wipe down the leather prior to the following cleaning steps.

Apply the cleaner with a foam applicator and agitate to bring up a foam. Wipe off residue with a damp microfiber towel. Wipe again with a clean damp (wrung out) microfiber to be sure to remove all traces of the cleaner then buff dry with a dry microfiber.

Apply the protection cream, thinly and evenly, with a foam applicator and allow to dry. Buff with another dry microfiber. This treatment should last two to three months.

I personally use Leatherique Brand Products. Here is a brief writeup I did to help walk you through the leatherique process.

i am also a big fan of leatherique, see my review here if your vehicle is brand new, you may not need to use the conditioner as it is more of a "revitalizer" (if thats a word ) and no, you dont need a lexus to post in the detailing forum! congrats on the new car
