I think it might be slighly acidic...Spray the barrel off first and try but what I do with stronger cleaners are spray it then scrub, then spray on soap to neutralize
then wash off

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS STUFF- There was someone recently on the IS-F threads who sprayed it on their 19's and it ate the finish off of the wheel. I have personally used it, but have made sure the wheels are cold (not recently driven) and are wet. I spray it on 1 wheel, scrub it down and rinse it off immediately! A buddy of mine put it on the wheels of his car and it destroyed them fast.

yeah when you wash a strong cleaner off without neutralizing it; reacting with the water can cause this to happen.

If you can use just soapy water, thats your best/safest bet. However, if you do need a wheel cleaner to assist, you might consider looking at the P21s line of wheel cleaners

My first attempt was with 1 (megs wheel cleaner) : 25 (water), and i used a brush the agitate. Was ok but needed a second go.

Second was with 50:50, did the trick.

But the stuff is still pretty toxic, especially to the nose.

With all the cars i have detailed, i prefer megs apc 1:5 or 1:10.

i would use p21s.... or megs all wheel cleaner. but being close to a harley dealer you can score s100 which is the same as p21s at half the price.

There is a Harley dealer on the corner of Knott and Garden Grove blvd. over by Allen's tire company. It is kind of a pain in the *** to get to because of road construction right now. I suggest you go east on GG blvd from Valley view and make a right into the parking lot before knott.

Once you get your wheels clean once, put on a heavy coat of wax (go for a product noted for high durability). After that, you may be able to just use regular suds for all your subsequent washes.
