Default Detailing my car!

Hello guys.
Purchased a 2009 obsidian is350 3 days ago and was wondering if Mcguires cleaner wipes for leather is effective on leather seats. Also is it to early to apply leather cleaner wipes on the seat. Would I also need to keep an eye on which products I use? What products do you guys use in order to prevent wrinkles on seats. I know over time leather seats are prone in getting wrinkles but what products out there slows it.

Depend on your preference. I love what Meguiar wipe, it will do the trick. I use Lexol Cleaner & conditioner.

As for wrinkle is just normal wear. I haven't see an ISX50 without any wrinkle on the leather.

To keep your leather in good condition is to get your car tint. and try to clean it once a week with meguiar quick detailer. Or lexol like me.

Hey phil! Thanks for the reply and the rest of the members =D. Im currently useing the Meguairs gold class wipes and was wondering if you were useing the same wipes. Its the first time im useing it but is the wipes better than lexol cleaner and conditioner? Also can you tell the difference after useing wipes? Thanks man!

I purchased Meguair's Gold Class wipes from Pepboys, and it is AWFUL! I don't know if I got a defective set of wipes, but not only do they apply unevenly, they add a nasty looking "shine" to the leather. I prefer something more subtle.

lol meguairs does that.. and it makes it the leather squeaky. i dont really mind it though... i like the spray better. and leave it out in the sun so it gets all hot then conditon the leather, i kno some detail guys that leave the heater on in the car to make the interior hotter. something about letting the conditioner into the leather.

I normally use leather master protection cream for the leather seats and 303 aerospace protectant on the plastics.

When using a leather conditioner like Leather Master Vital or Leatherique you want the interior to be as hot as possible, so that the conditioner bakes into the leather.

Leather Masters should be the OEM products for coated leather.

Keep in mind, the most important thing you can do to keep your leather looking like new is keeping it clean at all times. Keeping it clean will do more than keeping it protected. I use a simple solution of Woolite (original) mixed 10/1 with water. A medium bristle brush works great, also. Once the leather is clean, it can be protected if you desire, but most protectants will leave a residue that will attract yet, more dirt, oil, and grime.
Clean, clean, clean. That's where it's at.
