Default how bad is this scratch?

Went to run some errands in La and came back to this...
How bad is it?
Will Touch up Paint do the Job?
Already rubbed it with Meguiars Scratch Remover thats why the pictures show all that wax.
I don't want to have to repaint one whole door

If you can feel it when running a finger over, it can't be buffed out. Repaint one area may not blend well with the rest of the panels. Make sure the body explains the result on whatever you decide.

you could probably take it to the dealership and they could buff it out and it might not cost you that much. or you could take it to a lower scale body shop. it's not that bad of a mark, nothing a few bowls and a trip to a detailer/body shop can't cure

looks like a good polish / buffing should be able to take out most of it

kinda hard to tell by looking at the picture b/c to me it looks almost to the metal. but if you cant feel it, then you should be able to buff most of it out. and this is exactly why i park my car all the way in the back and as far from other cars as possible as much as i can. and it sux whoever did it just walked away from this keep us posted

Porter Cable + quality yellow pad + polish. I'll help you out if you can come to Alhambra ;-)

I would try w/ a machine and something more aggressive than scratch-x. Check some of the detailing forums (or on here) to see if theres a detailer in your area who is willing to help out.

Why not just hit the whole car?

It looks like you tried to polish w/ the Meguiars scratch remover before washing the car. Any dust/dirt would be trapped under the towel and dragged into the paint causing the marring.
-Just have the car completely detailed professionally w/ paint correction
