Thanks for the compliments. I also detail the interior as well right down to using a boars hair brush on the vent louvers.
You guys also asked a bunch of questions. Here's the answers:
Shinchan: I love these L-Tuned mufflers. I recorded the before and after and posted in the engine sub-group. I've e-mailed the sound file to about a dozen folks.
Miko 400 and 99GS 300: The No. 3 polish is $14.95. The "Best of Show" wax is $19.95. The shipping was around $8.00. I used up about 1/4 of the polish and hardly any of the wax.
Blue Wax: That shine mostly came from the polishing. The wax added very little. It is mainly protecting the surface. I had looked into the Griot's data and the wax is Carnuba based not Teflon. I'll see how long it lasts. I usually wax monthly but I'll see how long water beads and will update. It will be hard to keep from waxing but I'll go cold turkey. Maybe I'll post one pic per month from the same angle so we can have a controlled experiment.
