I foam down the car and allow the soap to dwell for a few minutes. I then rinse it off before even touching it w/ the mitt. I refoam and then wash. Might be a little much, but I think it helps to break up the loose stuff and rinse it down, leaving less on the surface to drag around

Did you mean his volks had some battle with the curb? Or the 17" oems?
I curbed one of his OEM 17" when I borrowed it, dont tell him
He doesn't know cuz I curbed it where he curbed it before haha
