I recommend a professional heat gun on a low temperature setting. Heat tape keeping a distance of 6-8 inches being careful not to overheat. Then remove adhesive and for whatever is left you can use either "Tarminator" or "Xenit" from Stoner. Follow up with a QD for any chemical residue that is left then wax or seal.

yepp u dont need entirely a heat gun..a hairdryer works also. heat it up and try to peel it off with your fingers then use goo gone or any adhesive remover and let it soak.

If the whole piece of tape is there, try rolling it off w/ your fingers. Might feel like your skin is going along with it, but this works best for me. Once you get the majority off, the 3M GPAC should take care of the rest w/ no problem
