wax = dust ????
For some reason my 94 GS300 sucks out dirt too much. I waxed it last weekend and now it's all dusty. I wonder if it's the wax that I've used that just attracts that dirt or something else!
Now, I have to take it to the detailer again. :-(

use Meguiar's Medallion Premium Paint Protection, bout $20 a bottle. Before that, use a paint cleaner. If that still don't work, invest in them car duster thingies. If that don't work, the air where you live and drive just sucks. i know how you feel

I have the same problem, I have a trees infront of the house that keeps dropping MAD pollen, it's yellow and sticky. When I wash the car, it gets pollen before I even rinse it.
What I use are those California car duster things, I heard it leaves little scratches, I don't care, it beats having a dirty car everyday, I waxed the car with Meguires wax and use Mother's quick detail spray (Not sure of name) and it keeps it smooth and pollen seem to stay off for a while. Good luck.

all waxes attract dust, some better than others. Do not use those dusters or any of that junk as it will scratch up the paint. Just use some quick detailer and a microfiber towel, the car will look fresh again.

got my car repainted black... GOD what a hard color to keep beautiful! just finished washing and drying it and here came a little rain.. and then the sun came out! can you say paint damage and water spots??? Here where I live, there is a lot of dust AND some of that salt spray... ah island life. then there's the morning dew and haze! Then there's my neighbor's damn cat that loves sleeping on and scratching up my paint! u know what... the only wax that I know of that lessened the amount of dust on my car was Zaino. works wonders.... expecially that purple spray thing gloss enhancer/touch up of theirs that smells like grape... kewl!
I dont know... when my car gets dust, i lightly run a terry cloth towel over it. yea.. there are more swirls now!!! shoot.. i hate that.. well.. I gotta go and wax the car again next week to hide the swirls.
