Default Is Collinite Wax good

I am trying to find some information about Collinite waxes and there doesn't seem to be too much written about it on these forums.

How does it compare to Meguiars and Zainos product lines?

Absolutely! Collinite Brand Waxes are all very good. We carry the 845 Insulator Wax, 476s Super Double Coat and the 915 Marque D'elegance.
I would say that their 476s is the most durable of the group, slightly edging out 845 (mainly b/c this is liquid vs paste). 915 is VERY under-rated in the wax world.
Collinite is our go-to brand for winter waxing. Dont be surprised to see one coat of it last you all winter

As for a comparison, I guess that depends on what you'd like compared. looks? personal preference. Durability. Depends what product in specific we're talking about. Price. Toss up w/ megs, but Collinite is very cost effective

its super long lasting

i live in the rainy city of vancouver (more rain than seattle!)

and just 1 coat lasts about 6 months of daily driving
and for a carnauba based wax, that is ultra durable
carnauba gives you that rich shine too

i love it
not the easiest thing to apply though
my arms get so tired after waxing my car
thank goodness i dont have to do it often

I live two blocks from the collinte building in utica n.y. on lincoln ave.i like the insulator wax the best.it lasts 4 eveeer.lol.just use car wash soap so u dont strip the wax off with dish detergent.its only ten dollars a bottle direct from collinite.and a little bit goes a long ways when applying collinite and comes off easy too.

Collinite especially 476S is excellent and one of the best kept secrets in the detailing world. It is one of the longest lasting, best protecting, most durable waxes you can get and it is pretty inexpensive. It is much better then Mequairs wax/sealants. Zaino is very impressive and is more expensive then collinite but I am not sure if it is any better but Zaino does bead better. Zaino AIO/Z2/Z8 and Collinite 476S are my two favorite wax/sealants. Collinite 476S is easier to use because you just wipe on and wipe off and it has a warmer look since it is a carnuba. Zaino is more sensitive to needing a completely clean surface to adhere and you need to do 2 or 3 steps, it gives more of a glassy look.

I agree, Collinite wax is amazing, lasts very long in winter months, rain beads very well.

Its a really good wax, lasts the longest of any carnauba and produces a super wet deep look. Either 876 or 476 will work, 876 is the liquid.

I love my collinite, buy some, its' a great nuba!
