Took off new body side mouldings-paint stain from BSM tape
I had OEM mouldings dealer installed on a new car for only a month and decided to take them off.
The 4 pieces came off pretty easily with no tape residue on paint.
Three doors are fine but the drivers's door has sort of a tape glue staining into the paint a couple of feet long.
Silver metallic paint now has sort of a white staining from the tape glue.
I've tried using a paint cleaners but the stain is still there.
Any suggestions for a possible fix before I put the mouldings back on?
