Applying Leatherique in Cold Weather
I've read through a couple threads about applying Leatherique and it looks more like a summer activity. Obviously, we're closer to winter then summer now. Can I still follow the same procedures outlined or do I need to use a different process?

Would you happen to have any halogen lighting you can set up shining against your seats to heat them up? Thats what I do when its too cold to condition the leather using Leatherique. Otherwise, I use Leather Masters instead since it doesn't really require warm leather to work.

You can do as Isaac mentioned, or you can also pull the seats out of the car. Usually only 4 bolts holding em down. Bring them in the garage or house where you can have a little more room to work with, getting creative on how to warm up the leather. With that said, you can still apply it to the seats, its just more advantageous to apply it in warmer conditions.

When it gets cold here, when conditioning the interior, I turn the car's heater on high and let the interior warm up for about 5-10 minutes. This opens up the pores of the hide and gives me enough time to condition the interior. A hairdryer also comes in handy to keep the heat going as you're working.

not sure how cold the winters get in CA (i know it depends where in CA you live), but i wouldnt waste the leatherique conditioner now in nj. the stuff is not exactly cheap and in order to get the best results, the seats need to be in a warmer climate. i think i am definitely going to get the leather masters cleaner and conditioner for the now.

When applying Leatherique in cooler weather I have used a portable space heater to heat up the interior. I just put it in the passenger seat footwell. It works pretty well and gets it very warm. Just be careful not to have it too close to anything that could melt or catch fire and watch over it to make sure nothing happens.
