Default Getting my Rear Bumper Repaired at a Body Shop

As the title says, I'm getting my rear bumped repaired pretty soon, after someone rear ended me on the freeway. Anyway, I'm wondering if there's anything special I should tell the body shop. Should I request that they not wash it because body shops usually do a ****ty job and create swirl marks? I asked them to clean up an unrelated paint chip and they said no problem. Anything else I should mentioned (insurance is paying for this). Sorry for such a random post.

No washing is always a good request no matter where you go. That one request usually covers them not detailing it either. Just have the bumper fixed, and make sure they polish it properly. They should wet sand, compound, and a few polishing stages should do the job.
