So you Know it's going to rain. But you still want to detail your car. What is your take on this and which products would you use? This would be interesting!

I have washed the car before right before it rains but i only do a half detail so to speak.. Spray wax the car along with tire shine and thats it.. No reason to spend hours on the car and than it rains..

Worried about rain John? I'm still going to detail no matter what. I have a garage that I can steal for 2 days max so I usually apply more layers of wax the next day before setting her outside

Detailing in Southern California is year long for me. Though I have to say, today is freakishly cold for some reason. I had to use hot water and ONR today

Well, tomorrow will be a heat wave around here with temps in the 40s, chance of rain/snow Monday. But I'll be out there washing my RX.

Well if the car is going in the garage I'd detail it even though its going to rain, but I wouldn't stand outside in the rain and detail my car (I have in the past...not fun at all). The only thing I would change because of rain is the LSP I use. I would pick a fast curing carnauba instead of a sealant which normally has to sit.

I washed the IS today. Pinnacle bodywork shampoo + cold water + latex gloves to keep my hands from getting wet.

It doesn't stop me from detailing the ride or even a customer's car.

It does get really cold since I do crack my garage open for venting. I would get goosebumps and be detailing my car at the same time haha.

I detail professional for a living, rain has never stopped me. Ive completely washed and prepped a car in the rain, then I pull it into the garage to dry and begin polishing and then wait till the sun comes back out! Rain is a common occurrence here in "sunny" Florida.
