Removing Primer???

Post Removing Primer???

Hello there....
During Car painting some primer got oversprayed in the engine bay on my carbon fiber engine cover.... what would be the best way to remove the primer?? thanks..

clay bar,and a little polish,if it's stubborn,may have to wetsand with 1200/1500/2000 and polish

I dont think sanding will be necessary and difficult to remove on a thin cover like that. I would try using a clay bar and a dilution of an all purpose cleaner. You can pick up a APC from anywhere like walmart in the auto section or we also carry Meguairs APC here at Auto-geek. We also carry clay bars, you will probably need a good professional bar like our BLACKFIRE PolyClay II Detailing Clay or else the APC will deteriorate the bar too quickly.

Give that a shot, and if it doesnt work well come up with another solution. You will still need to scrub it quite a bit with the clay, it may not just come right off.
