Default Please Help!! Primer Deep Scratch, What Do I Do?

Hi everyone, im a newbie and a 23 yr old female to this so please be easy on me. I went out to my car today and found a nice little surprise on my back bumper ( i have the pearl color IS250 2008) 2 scratches, one scuff looking mark (inch and a half wide) and one deep - primer deep to be exact - one inch wide scratch. I went to the bodyshop and they gave me an estimate of almost 300$ to fix my bumper so i looked online and found a few DIY solutions to fixing this and i want to know your guys opinion or if you guys have uses any of these products before and how they worked. Also if you have had this problem and what you did to fix it, id really rather not spend almost 300$ to fix these tiny scratches. PLEASE HELP!! Ive also attached pictures below so you guys can see the damage.

Product # 1 :Ultimate car scratch remover from car-scratch-remover.com - 97$ (thinking this is my best bet in addition to getting touchup paint from lexus)

Product #2 : Quixx Paint Scratch Remover - 14$

Product #3 : Bumper Repair Kit from jcwhitney.com $ 15

OR going to and bodyshop and shelling out 300$

Haven't used any of those products, but the sites are a turn off for me.

Try posting in the NJ portion of CL to see if some local guys can help you out. I helped a member with his car since someone keyed it for pretty cheap

Take it to a body shop. It seems for the $300 you were quoted they will performing a spot blend. It's a temporary fix that will last a few years, but will look as good as new for the time being.

You could try those methods if they are not too much trouble. But if they do not work, I recommend you to ignore those what I consider very minor scratches. After a few years, chances are your beloved IS would get some dents and scratches anyway, basically no matter how careful you are. My 08 IS has a few scrathes here and there also and I learned to ignore them, but that's just me.

this is just my opinion, but why would you spend $97 on a scratch remover kit and an additional ~$40 on the touch-up paints? i can assure you the results will not be close to 100% and you will be unhappy with the results. i really wouldnt waste the money those

You can do the touch-up paint method. Paint, Paint, Paint, Sand, Paint, Sand, Polish. Just like everyone has said, it will not come out perfect, but it will be less noticeable.

Default touch-up paint

Touch-up paint is the cheapest, and like everyone said its all going to be a temp fix anyways. I agree that after a few years your pearl IS250 is gonna have dents and dings all over it anyways so why not save the money look around online before you commit to a dealer ripping you off w/ their version of what your car color used to be.
