Default Many small door dings

Hi all

I've managed to acquire 6-7 small door dings on 3 of the 4 doors on my gs400. Small = less than inch with no paint damage

I've done a search on how to repair dings but I've got a couple of questions I am not clear on:

1) Is there a way to self-repair a ding? (assume I have the normal tools available)
2) Is it possible to repair w/o drilling a hole in the metal?
3) Is it possible to vacuum / suck the ding out?

I am looking for a cost-effective solution. Any advice appreciated

Honestly it isn't something that I would recommend.

Typically, the dent repair specialist that we deal with has to drill a hole, and then he massages out the small dings. The vacuum system is only effective on very large dents I believe, small ones have to be worked out.

Based on his results, and his process, I think that it isn't something likely easily accomplished without significant experience. There is a good possibility that you will do more harm than good, if you change it in some way it might make it even more difficult for the dent repair specialist to take out the ding than if you simply left it alone.

Honestly, I would talk to a few people in your area that handle that kind of work. Get some quotes, see what they think, see what their process will be to fix them in your specific situation. They should be able to answer your questions, and let you know what you are dealing with. That will probably give you a lot more insight as to it being something that you can do yourself, or if it is something that you should have done professionally.

theres a as seen on tv dent popper..its a bow and a screw type thing and you hot glue it to ur paint which i dont recommend but iv seen it work a few times with no damage to the paint. you can pick it up at autozone or walmart. or u can the air duster method look it up, never done it or seen it work but online a few ppl say it works.

anything you try doing theres going to be risk. its always better to let a pro do it tho

I'm in LA during the week and SD most weekends. Can I call for a quote or do you need to see the car?

We need to see the car to give you an accurate estimate. The more detailed pictures that you have of the dings that you want taken out, the more accurate the quote that we can provide can be.

You can PM either Moe or Myself and we will take care of you.
