New car prep..

New car prep..
Well today i decided to tackle the Frontier with my new PC kit.. A few brief steps i took, Wash, air dry while driving with absorber after wards, clay bar, and orange pad with PB SSR 2.5.
Now let me say that most of the results came out perfect but there are still small scratches mainly around the windows from the dealer prep and a few on the hood.. Now i did everything by the book..
I spread the polish with speed one, worked the polish with 3/4 speed and then in some areas that were bad i did speed 6.. but there still there...
I guess I'm expecting perfection and expecting all the scratches to come out. Now my GF took the truck to work so i still need to apply a finishing polish and wax tomorrow. So i'll have to re-wash the truck again before the SSR 1. She said it looked great but i know that there are scratches still there.
Is there something I'm not doing? Meanwhile i started at 12:30 and had to stop at 6:15..
Do i need a different Polish and pad.. I'm new to this and only really know about the orange and white pads.. To me i think i need something even more abrasive.. but i don't want more scraches by going to a more abrasive polish/pad.. This is a new truck and the paint is great..
I've seen way to many detail jobs on CL from turning a paint correction to near perfect..so I must be doing something wrong.. Damn I'm frustrated

If you could provide some pictures that would be helpful, you can try a yellow Lake Country pad, this is the most aggressive then work down to the orange and then white. You could also try a more aggressive polish. Also note note that some deeper scratches cannot be removed with PC, you would have to have an orbital polisher for that but it's risky if you're inexperienced. Let me know if you still have trouble

Pics added
For the most part I'm pretty happy with the results... I've added some pics that have some areas of light scratches and there are some longer light scratches on the roof that I wasn't able to get.. I'm new to this and still deleveloping my technique to see what works for me.. I guess i'm expecting perfection but i guess it will come in time..
In order
Wash
clay
SSR 2.5 orange pad
SSR 2 white pad
NXT 2.0
PB Polish/carnuba wax on Roof, tailgate, chrome, front bumper..This is the best stuff ever that I've applied to a vehicle..
barebones undercarriage spray
I'm sure these scratches can come out with the proper compound.. Besides the light scraches around the window and few on the hood I'm very pleased.. The paint is so smooth..

It's a fine scratch and like yours I cannot feel it with my thumb. It's not as noticeable but it's there and enough to bug me some. I did the same procedure you mentioned with the PC. I was wondering if I should apply apply more pressure on speed 6. I'll give it another crack at it when I wax the car.
