Default Lexus paint and clearcoat softness

Now that i've clayed the car, i need to make it shine and free of detect. I have a Porter Cable 7424xp with the M105/M205 combo kit and some orange and white pads, but i wonder about the clearcoat softness of the ES350 (black 2008) ....

Also, since i'm new in the detailling world, i wonder how many time we can light compound the whole car per year ?

thank you.

Hello Blueshark, most Lexus are on the hard side that I have found. Take one panel ( trunk ) tape it in half ( blue tape or green tape ) and start with M205 with the White pad and see what it does for you. I can't see it so always start the least aggressive way in polish first. Does it have many swirls or very minor RIDS? If that combo doesn't work for you then move up to M105 with a Orange pad then M205 White follow up again with M205 with Black pad. Let me know on how it turns out ( pictures will help ).
