The leather masters product you refer to is a cleaner right? Because I remember in your original post you saying you too do not like that slippery feeling.

Oh-and hey was it you who suggested using water? Because it really is a great simple idea! soaked a microfiber with water the other day and gave my entire IS-F interior a wipe down and they came out feeling nice and clean!

I'm jealous Jim haha. LM doesn't make it slippery at all. Its the most neutral feeling ever. My sister recently stole half the bottle to clean her 30 yr old LV purses too

I use both the Leather Masters Strong Leather Cleaner and the Leather Masters Protection Cream. Neither leave a slippery, oily, greasy or grabby feel. The leather will feel silky smooth and dry to the touch. Both products are nearly odorless as well.

Plain water on a microfiber is a good way to remove dust and fingerprints too. Dirt is the enemy of your leather. Water has the advantage of lightly hydrating the leather and help to keep it soft and crack free. Don't over wet the leather though or it could harden and crack over time.

After I clean my leather with the LM cleaner I always wipe down the leather with a wrung out microfiber to remove all traces of the detergent. I buff it dry with another microfiber, let it dry for several minutes then apply the protection cream. If you are at all concerned about dye transfer from blue jeans or belts the protection cream is the way to go.
