Default Cleaning the upper portion of interior door panels

I'm looking for some feedback from other owners as to how they clean the doors panels areas that have that mat black textured surface. Our 2010 IS is only a month or so old but the areas I noted in the picture are getting a chalky white/grey shadowing or staining to them. What is the best way to clean them. I've read on the forums that some people who have used products like Lexol have actually removed some of the dye from the panels leaving them with a blue/grey look to the door panels.

It's not fabric, it feels like rubber, but textured. I guess it's supposed to simulate leather.

I second the 303 Aerospace Protectant. It leaves the surface looking better than oem in my opinion.

I've always used Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer. It's quick, versatile, and very easy to use. It's great for the dash too, as it doesn't leave it too shiny like some other products and it's clean to the touch after use. I have black interior too and it still looks brand new

Another thumbs up for Meguiar's QID. It is useful for cleaning and protecting everything inside of the vehicle. I use it on the NAV screen and gauges, the dash, vinyl, steering wheel, rubber as well as weekly maintenance of the leather. Leaves the treated area looking like new with no added gloss or sheen to cause glare and it also has UVA and UVB protection. Not oily or slippery either, one of my favorite OTC maintenance products.

For the interior I'd suggest a lot of the products listed above. The Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer is a nice light cleaning product that works on so many different interior surfaces. The Einszett 1Z Cockpit Premium is probably a little bit better one step product as it cleans and protects very well.

For a two step process I'd suggest the 303 Cleaner & Spot Remover and 303 Aerospace Protectant. The 303 Cleaner and Spot Remover is a much stronger cleaner that is still very gentle and totally safe. I use it on the doors, dashboard, console, fabrics, carpets, etc. For protection on the rubber, vinyl, plastic, etc. I really like the 303 Aerospace Protectant. It has great UV protection and leaves a matte finish. If you have any questions please let me know.

You dont need much more then a damp microfiber cloth. Atleast every other week I wipe down the whole interior with a damp microfiber. For visable dirt and trouble areas Meguiars has an all purpose cleaner that doesnt leave any residue behind. I usually use that on the gas and brake pedals where alot of dirt gets on.
