I am into running and often get into my Lexus pretty sweaty, after running 10-14 miles. My wife uses the car and never complained about sweaty smell. I don`t know how stinky you have to be to leave a scent that strong for that long, I find it hard to believe.

Clearly people are having a tough time "getting" how the car can possibly smell like sweat. If you have been clubbing in dc, you know this smell. It's the guy that you can smell from about ten feet away. Outside. While you're smoking a cigarette. The guy who can create and emit this odor not by not washing his clothes, but on a daily basis. Just by existing and getting a little warm.
Imagine this. I took a fish from the fish market, on a hot sunny day when your car has been sitting outside, I rub the fish for ten minutes on the leather of your car. Then I take the fish out. According to a lot of peoples interpretation, the car shouldn't smell after you remove the fish. I say try this experiment and let me know how it goes. I'll even pay for the fish.
My point is this. There was a horrid smell. A smell so strong, that if I perspired (even though my BACK doesn't smell when I perspire), the smell would transfer to my shirt. Imagine sitting in an air conditioned office all day yet still smelling someone else's sweat on you. I cleaned the seats with anti perperant body wash, then later with woolite. The smell is no longer in my seats. I can only smell it through the vents on the hottest of days which I'm sure can be rectified by replacing the cabin filter.
For those of you who commented with suggestions or to share your own horror stories, thank you.
For those of you who just posted to say I'm crazy and the sheer physics of this scenario are not possible... Consider yourselves fortunate. You don't know what this smell is and have never experienced it.
Google bromhidrosis if you're really curious.
