Long term update:

After applying BFWD in October 2010, it is still holding up. Even after rain, all I need to do is clean the dried water spots using a dry microfiber cloth and it is good as new. No waterspots whatsoever.

By the way, here are the steps I did in the original application:

1. Clean car with good car soap. I used Armorall car soap.
2. Applied Klasse AIO. This takes care of cleaning out any minor surface imperfections such as water-spots and the like, and applying a polish at the same time.
3. Layer it with BFWD

Awesome!

I apply the black fire wet diamond with a porter cable and always get great results even with just one coat.

Do you add polycharger or extra polycharger to your BlackFire Wet Diamond bottles separately where other places don't or do they all have polycharger added. Just a little confused.
We are the main source when coming to Blackfire Products and yes they have Polycharger added at the line when produced so everyone can benefit from the awesome production and durability. We don't ship any out to all our vendors and customer without polycharger.

Angelo is correct. BFWD was updated (I believe in 2008) with the polycharger additive. For a lack for a better description the polymers in a sealant are kinda like worms, and as the cure they begin to curl, forming a chain mail. The additive causes the polymers to curl faster and curl tighter which reduces cure time and allows for more active polymers to engage at once. You get a mild bump in slickness and appearance but you get a noticeable increase in durability.

Hope this helps.

I have been seeing a problem, but could not lay my finger on BFWD. The problem was white residue in crevices and micro crater where the BFWD did go, but my towel was not able to wipe it out from. Today I opened up my bottle of BFWD after so many months and what do I see....The picture will tell a thousand words.
