Can anyone tell me what to use to remove wax from the black parts of my car? This is the stuff that turns white on the black parts of your car.

Are you referring to the plastic? If so, take an APC and a soft toothbrush to it. That should remove it. If it doesn't, you'll probably need to find a stronger APC. After cleaning it, make sure to apply some protectant to it since sometimes an APC can dry out the plastic

I would try this: http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/...rrivals&page=1
I have used many of their products before and I have never had a problem with them - very good quality. I have not used this one but if I needed it I certainly would try it.

For virtually any rubber, plastic or vinyl surface you can use the Poorboy's World Trim Restorer. It does a great job of cleaning the surface and removing the left over wax. For best results clean it as soon as possible and avoid sun exposure. The sun will further dry out the wax and make it more difficult to remove.
