Default need help with sticker residue

I just got my new 2010 rx350 and for some odd reason there is masking tape near the rear license plate. I can peel the masking tape off but it is stuck on really hard. I'm located in so cal, can anyone help me out?

Goo Gone or Rubbing Alcohol will help shift that

Any of the above stuff, or some kind of adhesive remover- that's what we use for detail at the lot I work at. Wax/buff the area once done, and it'll look like new!

If all else fails...3M sells a product called " 3M Adhesive & Wax Remover"...(part # 3M-03618).

Used it in the past and it's safe for paint, and works well on really hardcore residues.

Good luck

That's exactly what we use at my work. It works for almost anything. It does create some superficial scratches if you're too liberal with it but it waxes right out.

AFTA spot & stain remover (made by Guardsman). Works like a charm and WILL NOT damage the clear coat or paint !
It's a great product to have around the house.

+1 For Goo Gone and a plastic knife and either brake clean or any other solvent like brake clean.

Just about anything petroleum based will remove sticker residue. Just be sure to clean/rinse and wax so as not to expose a naked finish to the elements.
