Default Need a recommended Detailer in Charlotte, NC area

Hi all,

I purchased my '10 Obsidian IS250 in December, and other than the initial dealer detail/buffing, it hasn't been waxed yet.

My issue is water spots show way too much on the car, most likely from rain, etc. When I wash, I use the 2 bucket method, wash up/down on sides, and front/back on the hood/truck/top. When I rinse a final time, I let the water sheet over the paint to get most of the water off, then I use a leaf blower to air dry the car off. I don't use anything to "touch" dry the car.

Would like to know if anyone in the Charlotte,NC area can recommend a GOOD detailer, who knows what to do on black paint. I would like to maybe have a good coat of wax/sealant applied so I may not have as many issues with spotting.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The detailer I use is Terry N, who worked wonders on my (former) black GS and black LS. You can reach him at best(remove this part, all one word)shiner@gmail.com

He's a real product guy who knows his stuff and listens to your goals, etc.

This is Terry in the pic below

Tell him I sent you, if the email doesn't work PM me and I'll send you his number. He lives up on Lake Norman, but will travel within a reasonable distance.

Thank you for the replies. I'll check them out. I can actually see MY reflection in the pictures on your car

What products does Terry primarily use Dave? Definitely some nice shine going on there.

On my GS he used Zaino (which I specified, it was my 'show car'). On my LS400 and LS430 he's done a variety of products to see what works best including Klasse, Collinite, NXT, other stuff. Last time he had some product he was thinking of using that was supposedly very long lasting that was primarily an airplane-focused detail product, but I hadn't read much about it online and stuck to the stuff I know and could research. Plus was $$.
