How Often Do You Wash Your Lexus?
#31
Here's how it goes for me, about every week or two. I usually get tons of paper/mail and I have a cup of oj or something every morning and just throw the cup on the floor after I pour it out, so when I clean...its a job! It does greaten the satisfaction when you go from cups/paper all over the floor and dirt and brake dust all over your wheels (my car is black with chrome wheels so you can imagine how bad it must get). But when I look at it when its done it looks AWESOME!

Same with my interior its spotless and nothing in it except for my Ipod. And i wash my car at least every other day sometimes consecutive days in a row. I have a dark green paint so it anoys the heck out of me if there is dirt on it. Pardon my spelling i was in a hurry.
you are a freak like me

I think we need more options. For some of us, unfortunately the weather gets really bad. During the summer, it depends on when it looks dirty. For the winter, it depends on how much salt is on it.
For those of you who live in the north, what do you do after a huge snow storm? Do you wash it yourself (when it's 25 degrees out) or do you go through some type of carwash?

Thursdays and Sundays. The whole works. Wax once a month but use detailer in between. I have found that a clorox bleach pen does really well on the lexus lettering on the floor mats. The GREATEST thing clorox has yet to come out with. It just takes time and patience.

well, after 50+ coats of Zaino, I don't think this question applies to me anymore.
After a rain, or whatever sticks to the car, I simply hit it w/ a microfiber towel and a detailer spray and it's gone in seconds.

I try to get the salt stuff off as soon as I can, might wash her every week or so in winter. Just looked under and salt was there even after a self spray wash, I need to really get under there and wash it out I guess.

Mine gets a hand wash every week...even in Winter! I apply Z-8 on my Zaino panels after every hand wash.
Clean windshield every 2-3 days...I vacuum every 1-2 weeks. Full interior detail including Wolfgang plastic treatment and door seal treatment and Zaino Z-9/Z-10 leather conditioning every month.
If carnauba, I apply Souveran every 1.5 to 2 months, new base layer of AIO every 4 months.
