Have been doing this for all my cars, including the Lexus:
Wash every 2 weeks. Wax every month.
Polish and wax every 2 month.
Claybar as needed.

Keep in mind that "People judge you by what you drive...dont let them think you are DIRTY"

Wash everyday, for the lovebug season going on in Florida (only the front half though). Then every weekend the entire car. And the damn front wheels with the brake dust.....the 18" wheels 10 spoke design is killing me....
I can't see other people with complex design of the wheels and keep them clean...

In CA, I see so many bimmers with their multi-spoke rims that are basically soild with brake dust and other debris. I can just imagine what a pain it must be for them to be cleaned. I'm sure several of them pay someone else to do it, but the typical car wash wouldn't do a good job.

Ugh, whenever I see bimmers here in NY, I'd say 99% of them don't even bother cleaning their rims. They're so dirty and caked with brake dust that it makes me nauseus.

I wash mine once a week because the dust gathers incredibly fast from city parking, way too many cars=a lot of brake dust. Does anyone have a trick to washing the car and not having the windows wet when rolling down the windows. I've thought of blue painters tape and putting them on the window seals. What do you think?

For those who wash their car once a week. Here's an idea:

1. Purchase a DI or softener system (CRSpotless or Spot Free)
2. Purchase a pressure washer

This basically becomes your weekly duster! When spring comes around, I think I'm going to go for it!
