Default Safest way to remove bird droppings?

What is the safest and easiest way to remove it and I just used a damp cloth to remove it from my dads corvette which would be better and act as a safe barrier for the paint pinnacle liquid spray wax or crystal mist please let me know thanks also what do you use to remove it from your cars/trucks

keep a kit in your car with some quick detailer and microfibres. Fold up a MF and wet it with the QD, then place it over the dropping then scrunch it and lift so you aren't rubbing it against the paint. If the dropping is dried, then wet it and let the towel sit on it for a few minutes to soften before scrunching.

I've even used water in a pinch and it works great. Put the towel over and pour some water right over top. Let it sit for a few, then scrunch.

I usually spray some APC or citrus degreaser (heck... even ONR works) on it and let it dwell for about a minute...then rinse it of with a stream of water from a hose... that way I don't even touch the area physically and about 90% of it or all of it comes off...especially if you have the car waxed prior.

If this is not an option and you don't have access to a hose, do what embolism suggested, that always works too. Don't forget to re-wax/re-seal the area after you're done.

Bug and tar remover works like a charm. if the droppings are dry, apply, let it sit for a while to soak in, then like the other poster said, hose it off. no rubbing required.

Keep in mind that citrus cleaners and Bug&Tar removers will also remove wax or sealant so remember to reapply the protection if you use these extreme measures. It's not a bad idea to reapply anyway after removing bird droppings.

the faster you remove it the better. carry some paper towels and some quick detailer in your trunk. if your at home dampen a paper towel with warm water.

Either way, you gotta scrunch ;-D

Most definitely. I would reapply wax or sealant even if I used a QD to remove the bird droppings, or if I removed them as I was washing the entire car just to be safe.

the acid in bird crap will be eating through your wax/sealant already anyway. spray wax is the best solution until you plan to re-wash the car and apply a fresh coat of wax
