Default Can these wheels be saved?

I just picked up this LS460L and it looks like the previous owner used the wrong type of wheel cleaner or let it dry in the Vegas summer heat thus scaring the clear coat on the wheels.

Can these be saved?

If not, I'm going to have just do a chrome exchange. Let me know what you all think!

i believe refinishing the wheels is your only option.

You will probably have to refinish them. I don't know if that's something you can polish or buff out.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to try some compound.

thanks for all your input. i just drove over to California and did a chrome exchange. Not a huge fan of chrome but it was fast, easy, convenient, and the cost was the same to refinish. Now my car looks like how much it is worth.

Good thing you got new wheels, because what it looks like below is clear coat failure meaning the only option is to have them refinished.
