Default Need some help understanding Wax vs. Wax-As-You-Dry

So subject mainly states it all..

I wanna know what's the huge difference between a regular wax on/wax off job and a wax as you dry product? Eagle 1 makes 'Wax As You Dry' and I saw Meguiars does also.. So what exactly is the difference? Any help/info would be appreciated. I got an opinion on it from a friend, but i'd also like to see what others have to say that may have used both products.

Thanks,

-D

The wax as you dry is just a quick detailer spray. It's intended for between regular wax on/off jobs.

with the exception of maybe Optimum Car Wax, spray on type waxes are mostly to renew your existing wax protection. Most people use them as a drying aid and to give a boost to their main lsp.

OCW can be used as an lsp from what I've read. Haven't testing it though.

Dont buy those. Buy real spray waxes like OCW.

I'd still put on a main wax even if you get the OCW.

Collinite 845 is cheap and goes on and off pretty easy. It's all I use in the winter...
