Easy Drying Tip
Instead of using a nozzle with your garden hose to rinse the car, here's a better way to rinse it to really speed up drying.
Unscrew the nozzle from the hose and turn the water faucet valve to about 25%. Then, carefully rinse the car by holding the hose close to the car perpendicular to the surface and letting the slow stream of water do the rinsing.
After rinsing, you'll notice that there's much less water drops and overspray for you to dry.

Great tip, whitels, it really does make drying much easier.
I do the same, almost. I don't change the water pressure, I kink the hose about 6 feet from the end with my left hand. This cuts off the water to the nozzle. I then remove the nozzle, and I loosen my grip slightly to allow the water to flow. When I'm done I squeeze the kink closed and re-attach the nozzle.
I guess walking to the spigot and adjusting it is too much effort for me.
Note of Caution: Please be careful to hold the end of the hose near the threads, so you won't touch the paint with it.
