In the past I used 303 but I may have gotten a bad batch cause it turned my weather stripping gray.

Anything out there that will protect it from the sun so it doesn't crack yet keep it black?

I believe it was Mother's 'Back to Black' ??? I think it's from Mother's, but it's suppose to bring all of that back to a nice black sheen look.

Sounds like you may have leached the carbon black out of the weatherstripping. Whatever you use from now on will likely not last very long. Meg's has recently released a new product called Ultimate Black that claims to last for weeks but I've not used it. You might also check with an auto trim shop or body shop and see what new weatherstripping would cost. It's not all that expensive nor difficult to replace.

I always use Black Wow. I apply it once a year and it stays black for a very long time. The bottle lasts a long time so don't let that put you off on the price. I haven't touched 1oz since I purchased it 3 years ago and I use it on all my cars
