Default Proper Wheel Cleaner for Vossens?

Seems that the Sonax and ps21s wheel cleaners are the most popular for cleaning wheels..

Which one is recommended for my new Vossens?

I also have the Optimum Metal Polish. Would this good for the Stainless lip?

thanks

Are your wheels brake dust coated or can it be easily removed with soap/water/agitation? Least abrasive method sorta applies here but it changes to least reacting method if possible. The steps look fine but you should use the polish prior to sealing them (just making sure)

both sonax and p21s are PH balanced and safe for all types of finishes. sonax would be the ideal candidate if your wheels are kinda beat up and p21s is more of a good maintenance wheel cleaner in my experience with the two. I do not have any experience with using the Opt metal polish on wheels but I have used it on my exhuast tips and they came out good after using 0000 fine steel wool. You would also use the sealant after the polish like eyezack suggested.

Thank you sir.. It does look like a shiny coating on the wheels... Maybe a clear coat of some sort.. The wheels are brand new so my experience with brake dust is limited right now

Also the sealant can be applied to the entire wheel correct?

Thanks

I'd check with the wheel manufacturer to see if it is clear coated or not since that will also dictate whether you use a metal polish or a standard paint polish.

The sealant can be used with the entire wheel yes. I'd suggest a nice even coat and also adding another layer of Armor All Wheel Protectant for even more added protection. The AA will keep dust from adhering from your wheels for a few weeks before the Wheel Sealant is exposed to do its job. It also works on shaved rubber particles but not as effective of course
