Default Need help removing sapp stains from Paint?

Hi Guys,

I need some advice on removing some orange sapp stains from my hood of my 08 GS. I washed the car and used clay bar, didn't work. I bought bug and tar remover, still didn't work. You can still see the outline of the stain and on some marks, it has the orange color. Any product suggestions would help. Thanks in advance.

There have been instances where the sap died my paint the color but it was removed with a bit of polish (if I were lucky). Another potential is the sap etching into your clearcoat. What color is your car?

You may need to use something that is a bit more aggressive than that. Maybe a polish or even a light compound....Got any pics?

Black color+ tree sap stain = etching in clear coat.
You will need to try buffing it out or color sanding spot. Leave it to a professional.
