Default Wheel cleaner/polish?

I have the gunmetal color 18inc lobster claws and i need a good wheel cleaner to remove some stains. I have these streaks and spots on my rims that wont come off with soap and scrubbing, and i dont want to use any wheel cleaner or polish that will destroy the coat or color of the OEM gunmetal color rims. Does anyone have any good suggestions on what products to use to clean stubborn stains on rims? Thanks

For cleaner, you might look at "SONAX Wheel Cleaner Full Effect".

I've used poorboy's wheel sealant with good results on factory rims.

Sending you a PM on places to look / order...

Are the stains from brake dust or from using other wheel cleaners? If its brake dust, Sonax would be a good option. Although if you have some light polish, it might be worth a try as well. The OEM alloys appear to be clear coated from factory so a light polish shouldn't remove too much clear on the wheels

That's the best stuff I've ever used. BTW you can try to clay bar a small spot too and see how that works.

I usually follow up with CG's wheel wax. Makes keeping the wheels clean very easy

i just used the Sonax cleaner today. Granted the wheels weren't that dirty but cleaned them up nicely.. Also bought some Poor boys wheel sealant.. Haven't tried the sealant yet but a few coats should keep off the brake dust..

I'll have to try some Sonax on my new wheels. I've been looking for a good cleaner for a while but wasn't sure what to get.

Just keep in mind the wheels sealant will only last so many washes before you'll need to clean & re-apply. My other car I would get apx 5 washes on one application.

Yep, sonax full effect is top stuff. Turtlewax ice wheel cleaner has the same iron bleeding effect as well, and is often easier to get a hold of.

My wheels have been sealed with C.Quartz, so I just clean them with the hose and pressure washer.
