There's water spots on my car's glass windows that are diffcult to remove even using glass window cleaner solutions. I heard that metal cleaner is the best way to remove these tough water spots. Can someone chime in if that's the best method or are there other options?? Thanks!

Te be honest there isn't really a "best way" since it all depends on how bad it is. Some may be light enough to be removed by one method, while another may need some heavy duty glass compound. My suggestion after removing my fair share on vehicles, 50/50 Distilled water and White Vinegar mix. If that isn't cutting it, spray Vinegar full strength on a towel and let it sit on the spots. By letting it sit on the surface, the Vinegar will slowly break down the mineral deposits on the glass

I have used vinegar myself and it works okay, not great. I've heard that steel wool can leave very fine scratches in the window and looks really bad if the sunlight hits it at the right angle. My two cents.

I've never used the vinegar mothod but sounds easy enough to try and I agree use steel wool with caution. That's a method I have tried with simular results.

What about metalwax?

I want to purchase this, but not too sure how effective it would be. Anyone have experience using this product?

If you are going to use steel wool, it is very important you get the #0000 grade (often referred to as Quad Zero). I've used that for 25 years with no scratches. Cleans up chrome, too!
