Armor all or Meguiars Car wash soap?
#16
I use a wash that compliments the sealer I use when I detail. Until I changed a couple of years ago, I used Maguiars Gold, and was very happy with it. I used their sealers, too.
I suspect (although I don't know) that manufacturers would make all of their products work well together. I may be wrong, but that's why I use all Prima products. I would do the same if I used Maguiars or Mother's, too.

Manufacturers target different audiences. That's one reason Meguiar's makes so many products. They make products for Joe consumer who washes his car once a month, They make products for pros and serious enthusiasts and they make products for detailers. All their products are designed to be compatible with one another. I personally like Gold Class Car Wash, NXT Car Wash if you have hard water, and in their detailer line, I use a lot of Shampoo Plus and Hyper Wash. The HyperWash is my personal favorite, but they all work very well.
Armor All only targets one audience, Joe consumer, who doesn't really have much skin in the game. Nothing wrong with that, but if you want to improve your results, better products will help get you there.
You can also look at a company's reputation. Meguiar's has been in business for 110 years. They have a reputation to protect and take great care to keep it intact. What is the general drift most enthusiasts have for Armor All products? Take a look and see what you find.
Of all the companies making car care products only one has toll free phone support, offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and sponsor numerous car shows/events around the world.
When you put your name on the product your personal reputation is at stake. Meguiar's has earned a good reputation and kept it for far longer than any other company in this business.
Compare for yourself. Compare product and compare price and value. Make up your own mind but don't overlook the obvious.

I wanted to follow up on just why I like Hyper-Wash so much. It is highly concentrated. It mixes 1 ounce to 3 gallons of water for a most remarkable car wash but also if mixed 1 ounce to 2 gallons of water it makes an excellent rinse-less wash. I haven't tried Meguiar's new 2012 product, Express Wash, which is designed to be a rinse-less wash but if it works as well as Hyper-Wash it will be something to take a hard look at. It's very pricy though. Hyper-Wash is a great value, especially if you watch for a free shipping offer, but is only available in 1 gallon or 5 gallon sizes.
If you are only washing your own cars you might not want a gallon jug of Hyper-Wash, especially since it is so highly concentrated. I use three gallons of wash solution per vehicle and 1 gallon of Hyper-Wash yields 128 cars or $0.19 per car. Most washes use 1 ounce per gallon so with those products a gallon only yields around 42 cars or about $0.38 a car.
I have yet to find a more versatile and cost effective car wash than Hyper-Wash and I've been doing this for more years than I like to think about. If you find a free shipping deal, you should really check this car wash out.

I like to use this stuff because it contains dispersed wax. Dispersed wax remains on the paint after rinsing, so you don’t get the illusion of wax, you get real wax that stays on the paint. It works well for me since I like to clay bar and apply a few good coats of wax. This stuff helps maintain that wax protection in between waxings.
I have not used the NXT wash or wax. I am curious about it, but the Meguiar's site advertises the Ultimate wash and wax as their top stuff.

NXT Car Wash offers an advantage if you have hard water. It delivers good lubricity and more suds than Gold Class in hard water. I wouldn't hesitate to use either Gold Class or NXT Car wash.

Yes stay away from armor all, if you must got with one of your choices go with meguiars.
I get serious when it comes to detailing.
Wash and rinse bucket, both have grit guard in them.
Foam gun to put a layer of soap on the car before I touch it with a wash mit.
2 wash mits one for the top one for the bottom of the car.
Adams car wash shampoo is awesome!!!!
Google adams polishes and take a look.
Than to dry, I use a master blaster.
Been detailing for 8 years and adams has impressed me a lot in the past 6 months.
