I was wondering.... In the 2IS we have Perforated seats w/ Heating/Cooling air elements. These little holes in the seats actually blow cool/hot air which is amazing but... has me a bit worried... If we use this leather condition, cleaners that are thick liquids will it clog up those holes?? I dont want any damage to my leather or my awesome cooling seats!!

I just switched from Lexol to Zaino Cleaner and Leather in a Bottle conditioner.
I'm never going back. With shipping its pricey, $28! But it actually cleans unlike the Lexol, and then the conditioner has a nice leather smell. I give it 2 thumbs up!

used soft soap on my ecru interior yesterday in an attempt to remove black marks on seatback from my belt. Did not work. Any other suggestions?

The Lexus supplied leather cleaner. Might be worth a try.

This is an excellent thread.
I use Soft Scrub Every Few Years. Lexol Every Month and Connoly Hide Food with the working on a warm car after sitting in sun. Not a problem in Florida.
Works great on Ivory Leather, I am going to try Leatherique products since the reviews are excellent. Just so expensive.

Whats everyones opinion on the Lexus Brand Leather Conditioner??
I bought it and it seems to work pretty well. This is my first time using a leather conditioner so I do not have nothing to compare it to. PLus my IS is two weeks old so the seats are virtually new.

Lexus brand conditioner is actually rebranded/bottled leather conditioner.
Also, you shouldn't need to recondition/clean your leather for a while if your car is new..Savor the new car smell

The Lexus Leather Cleaner and Conditioner works very well is quite affordable when compared to most quality OTC products. And did I say how well it works? It does an excellent job. This is not Lexol or Meguiar's in a Lexus bottle. If you actually compare the products you will find different consistency, aroma, and working properties. I have not found a OTC product that was the same as the Lexus product yet and I've used nearly all of them.

If you have some factual data to support that opinion I'd like to see it.

The dealer was asking for $21 each for conditioner and cleaner when I picked up the rubber mats a few days ago.....
have you tried this one? I think that would be the closest one with lexus brand ?
