Wrong board. Try Automotive Care and Detailing.

Lexol for leather; Vinylex for dash.

All you'll ever need.

Heh...What mooretorque said....

Get it at PepBoys. Lexol and Vinylex are made by the same company.

Read all about them here. http://www.lexol.com

I made a huge mistake by using the Lexus brand Lotion on my leather. It made the leather look greasy and slippery. I've lived with this "nasty" leather for a year now. All I have used lately was a damp cloth to clean it.
I'm afraid to use Lexol because I dont want that greasy, slippery feel. I love the way new leather feels and looks, but that "conditioned" look is not for me.
So, my question is, does Lexol make the leather look and feel all greasy? Or will it make the leather feel softer and bring it back to factory condition? Thanks

gs, Lexol doesn't leave a greasy feel. Used as directed (wipe on, let sit for a few minutes, wipe off), the leather feels slightly tacky for about 24 hrs, then back to its usual slickass self. (I phrased it that way because some folks put big globs on and leave on overnight; I don't know how that ends up making the leather feel.)

Daddy-O, thanks for supplementing the info in my last post!

Lexol is great stuff...Wipe it on, wipe it off. Beautiful dry finish. It leaves the seats just as they were when new. I've never used it on older well-worn seats, though.

Vinylex is just the bomb. Is it me, or does it repel dust? Since I started using Vinylex, I've noticed there's significantly less dust on the dash. The finish it leaves behind is beautiful. Absolutely perfect.
