Wash and detail at home in the comfort of my garage!

 

I perfer to wash my cars either at my moms house or mines. The best time is early in the morning or late afternoon when the sun is going down. Less water sopts this way. I dry and detail the car in a covered area soon after.

 

At home and weekly. Did the clay bar, polish and wax treatment yesterday. My neighbors think I am nuts!

 

LOL. Thats probably one of the funniest things about being a car enthusiast. Ordinary neighbors think your a nutbag, until they ask you questions about car tips, and you give them novel ideas. And in an instant you become the car Yoda of the block instead of the car nutbag.

 

I wash my ride at my place, sometimes at the GF's place but once a month I load up the 5 gal buckets with supplies and head to one of those coin op places with the high pressure wand. I go there for the high pressure wand to give those nooks & crannies a good blast - even more so after driving around in the rain and all that crap flies up and gets stuck to the fender wells. Not to mention you get to meet other car nuts at the local coin op - i think they are there to get away from their wives lol.
