depending on who runs my car through the dealer wash...i always find scuffs and shoe prints on my alabaster interior on driver side panel from where they prop door open with foot....anyone else experience this at dealer? im 6'5 so never had to do this.
of course i get them to wipe it down again...but seriously how can you not see that.
**also service guys hand prints all over driver side door when grabbing it to close door...alabaster= proof
sidenote-the free freshbaked cookies in owners lounge and starbucks are nice

dealership wash is the surest way to get swirled out paint
unless they have a touchless setup, then just enjoy the cookies and starbucks and get the heck outta dodge
I keep do not wash signs in my side pocket and put them in the window if I ever have to go to the dealership

there are some dealer washes that are the exception but I wouldn't trust them personally to wash my car. Just spend the money for a car wash gear. It's worth it in the long run to minimize swirls. Good quality soap, good quality wash mitt, 2 buckets, 2 grit guards and a waffle weave towel for blotting. That's the basics.
At the dealer I used for free service, I got a loaner HS250h that was 3 months old at most. That thing was covered in swirls. I make sure to carry a "no wash" sign in my glove compartment as well.
