Default Blackfire Crystal Seal - The 11 Minute Paint Sealant

What do you think you could accomplish in eleven minutes? You could go for a jog or get a quick bite to eat at your favorite fast-food joint. Maybe even download and burn your favorite artist’s greatest hits collection from iTunes. All of the above can certainly be accomplished in that time frame, but none of them will turn heads or create whiplash as your cruise down the strip at your local car show. That’s where Crystal Seal, one of the newest additions to the recently revamped Blackfire line, comes into play.

Blackfire Crystal Seal is much more than a bottle packed full of specially blended polymers and gloss-enhancers. Blackfire Crystal Seal enables you to seal and protect virtually every surface of your vehicle’s exterior in minutes. What’s even better is how less is more, literally. Walk out to your garage with the bottle in one hand and an applicator in the other and you’re all set. Put the towels away as this spray sealant requires no buffing.

Blackfire Crystal Seal is quite possibly the easiest product you will ever lay your hands on. Not only does it induce whiplash by creating a reflective, hard-as-nails shine, but it also provides months of protection that can withstand the harshest of environments. Blackfire Crystal Seal protects and enhances painted surfaces, exterior trim, chrome bumpers, glass and wheels. Blackfire Crystal Seal provides a super-slick polymer barrier that virtually nothing can stick to.

The key to success with Blackfire Crystal Seal is to apply it to a squeaky clean surface free of any contaminants. Clay as needed to remove bonded contaminants and use Blackfire’s Gloss Enhancing Polish to promote proper bonding of Crystal Seal. After the surface is cleaned and prepped, all you need is a microfiber or poly foam applicator. I’ve found that a microfiber applicator is ideal as it reduces the chance of streaking and provides a more thin, even coat.

When you’re starting out with a fresh applicator you should first prime it with one spray of Crystal Seal. This will ensure consistent, even coverage with the first panel that you apply it to.

Blackfire Crystal Seal is hyper-concentrated and the phrase thin is in cannot be stressed enough with this particular spray sealant. One ounce is more than enough to protect and enhance four to five vehicles. For most vehicles one spray per panel is all that’s required. A hood, for example, would require two sprays. Blackfire Crystal Seal should never be applied to a hot panel in direct sunlight.

Always spray Crystal Seal directly onto the surface.

Using just the weight of your hand, move the applicator back and forth and then up and down. This will ensure complete coverage of the sealant. If you notice any streaking you’re either applying too much product or the panel that you’re working on is hot to the touch.

Because Crystal Seal goes on thin and dries clear, it can also be used as a glass sealant. When used on glass, you can let your wiper blades rest at speeds above thirty miles per hour as the rain will be whisked away. You will also find that glass sealed with Crystal Seal will be much easier to clean and maintain.

With virtually every new car on the road utilizing some type of plastic or polycarbonate for the headlights/taillights, oxidation is inevitable unless these surfaces are protected. Blackfire Crystal Seal can also be used on these surfaces to protect against oxidation. Not only that, but just like every other surface that you apply Crystal Seal to, it will also enhance the appearance.

Blackfire Crystal Seal also works great as a wheel sealant. As a direct result of the super-slick clear polymer coating provided by Crystal Seal, future cleaning of your wheels will be much easier and require less effort. Best of all, application only takes seconds and there is no residue to buff off.

If you aren’t flabbergasted by this product yet, scroll down just a tad further to check out the whiplash inducing shine created by Blackfire Crystal Seal.

Blackfire Crystal Seal is quite possibly the single most effective and easiest product to use in your detailing arsenal. It only takes minutes to apply and you won’t have to spend any time memorizing the instructions. Spray, wipe, and walk away. Your vehicle can be sealed, protected and ready to create whiplash in less than eleven minutes.

Don’t just turn heads; create WHIPLASH with Blackfire Crystal Seal.

Looks good, but how is the durability in the rain and also do you have a before/after shots or a 50/50 shot?

Yes, same questions I have.^ I am looking for an easier/faster replacement for JetSeal 109. But it has to be just as durable or its a moot point.

How is this any different to Zaino Z-CS or Optimum Opti-Seal?

Durability is 3-4 months when applied to a surface that has been properly prepped. 50/50 shots aren't significant enough when applying just a wax. Polishing/removing swirls is a different story.

I'm not familiar with Zaino Z-CS, but Crystal Seal is similar to Opti-Seal in the sense that they're both spray sealants. Crystal Seal is slightly easier to apply.

Find something you like, and use it often.

the hybrid v7 (to my knowledge) is the only spray on sealant chemical guys makes. altho application is easier/faster ... it does not last anywhere near as long as jetseal 109

if this crystal seal really lasts 3-4 months as advertised, i would def consider switching to it just for the easy factor and speedy application!

Used the Blackfire Wet Diamond paint protection Sealant about 2 weeks ago and the results came up amazing.. The Blackfire product line so far is pretty good.. Much slicker than wax and last twice as long..
