My bumper was repainted due to a hit and run accident. How long should I wait before I wax the freshly painted bumper?

Can I spray UQD on it to help with bug issue on front bumper IF i need to wait before before waxing?

I think detailers are ok to use. Even if they have a bit of carnauba in them it still allows the paint to off gas

I'd recommend checking with the painter to see what paint was used and what they recommend. Some want you to wait 90 days. In the meantime I have used Meguiar's #80 in this situation as it provides a minimal protection to the paint and is a mild abrasive to keep the bugs and grit off. I'd only use a QD that is body shop safe. Final Inspection (M34) is one I'd suggest. Most QDs contain silicone and that will inhibit outgassing of the paint.
