Default leather care..

I suppose this thread has been beaten to death so here it is one more time

I noticed my dealership sells this non Lexus product called "leather only" at leatheronlyproducts dot com
The bottle is twice more expensive than the genuine leather product with the Lexus title on the bottle..

Any feedback on it or any alternative? Whats best for our silky leather ?

Thanks!

I just bought alot of stuff from adams polishes. I have to say, their leather and interior cleaner, and their leather conditioner is nice. Both are non-greasy, and easy on easy off. The interior cleaner is for leather and your dash and such. The conditioner smells like a brand new leather jacket, def brings back the new leather smell.

I stick with the genuine Lexus conditioner. I figure no one else knows their own leather better than Lexus.

I actually have the same question. I was considering using "Leather Only" so i contacted the people who make it. Seems like they are only 20 minutes away from me in Houston TX. The manager told me to come by and look at my leather becuase I have a greasy and shiney light grey leather and i want the Mattle finish back. So i'm going tomorrow, or friday..i'll let you guys know.

I've tried using Lexol cleaner and conditioner in separate bottles. It cleaned the leather, but still had the greasy, shiny and sticky residue.

Any ideas on how to remove it?

It would be worth a shot to let them look at it. Maybe a diff leather cleaner, and conditioner. The cleaner and conditioner I used left a matte finish, both were non greasy. I used adams polishes: leather and interior cleaner, and leather conditioner.

I use Swissvax leather cleaner and Swissvax leather conditioner, for the cleaner i use it with your basic kiwi shoe brush, then a wipe down with a damp microfiber towel and then conditioner is applied with a microfiber pad.

how often do you guys clean and condition your leather? I currently park in the garage and drive my 2IS maybe 5-6 times a month. What do you guys recommend for me? Thanks!

+1 on this. They make a kit that has the cleaner and conditioner together. Works perfect.

I use Zaino Z-10 and Chemical Guys( who makes a lot of relabeled Adams and Poorboys products) leather cleaner.
A gallon of the cleaner goes for $19.64.

I use conditioner but i can't see how it penetrates though the polyurethane coating on the leather but I still use Z-10.Nice matte finish and great leather scent.
