Default Dealership's ultimate car detailing package

Has anyone ever had the ultimate detailing package? If so, would you recommend it or should i just take my gs to a detailing shop? BTW Lexus of maplewood is asking $259.99 for this package.

Thanks

Take that $260 put it back in your pocket. Then spend $20 on a clay bar kit and $20 on a bottle of Meguiar's Ultimate Wax and you wind up with just as effective a protective coating, IMO. Another option is OptiCoat 2.0.

I believe this is just another dealer money maker. Sadly, most dealerships have very poor detailing performance and usually induce swirls and marring.

To know how good a dealer details their cars, look at their used car lot. The people who detail those cars are the same ones to detail yours. Then you be the judge of it.

I personally, would do it myself, or just find a good professional.

I agree, I wanted them to polish a few scracthes and they stated that there would be extra fee for it. I assume that the high speed buff is just an wax job... So I'll spend that money on detailing equipment and do it myself.
