What flex additive did you add to the paint?

Nice work! It came out great. I did not realize you could get custom color mixed and put into a spray can.

This is exactly what I had to do when I lived in this small town in Ohio haha

Wouldn't have a real painter in town so I have to do it just like how you did. Looks great man!

I mean MOST mechanically inclined people own atleast a tiny air compressor which is all you need, and even a $10 paint gun would make a huge difference.

Looks great. Good job.

I've seen inexperienced people with paint guns do far worse than this

WOW, I am amazed! I had my doubts as I scrolled through your post, but the end results eliminate most of them!

If you don't mind telling, how much do you think you spent in time and money (on supplies) overall?

It was basically a 2 day project. Allowing it to fully dry took the longest. I purchased sandpaper, primer, paint to much my car and clear coat which all cost me around 25 bucks!!

So guys, I tried out this DIY and I'm really happy with the results.

First off, I want to thank OP for helping me out when I had questions etc. he was there to respond in really good details (even though it was already good enough on this thread lol) Really cool dude though! And second, I'm a real amateur when it comes to painting my own stuff, but this thread made it very understandable and easy for me. Thanks again OP!

oh and, I buffed it by hand...it was a real pain!! that's why it doesn't look as good as OP lol. But I'm pleased with it.
